  • Transport
  • ETA
  • Border control

Zentrix has joined forces with NELT and European Space Agency to develop new services for road transport optimisation, that has a potential to streamline the border waiting and improve estimation of the time of arrival of fleet.

On January 21, 2025, SPATRA project held its First Periodic Review Meeting at OHB SE in Bremen, Germany. The meeting gathered project partners to review progress, exchange insights, and discuss the next steps for improving transport monitoring and management using European satellites.

The meeting was also attended in person by the Project Officer from EUSPA – EU Agency for the Space Programme, who provided valuable strategic insights and guidance, helping to ensure that SPATRA stays aligned with broader EU priorities. Their input contributed to shaping the discussions on future activities and impact.

Zentrix is developing Transport Management System for the optimisation of ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) for the trucks fleet between non-EU and EU borders.

What is our role?

Zentrix Lab is leading the development of key project components, including defining requirements, creating detailed use-case specifications, and advancing machine learning for truck detection in satellite images. Zentrix is also enhancing vehicle tracking accuracy through in-truck hashtag EGNSS systems and developing a Transport Management System (TMS) to streamline logistics and fleet management.
